"Signed contract with partner/employee for fence second week in November. Was quoted a week. Around mid December it wasn’t done bc he said it was more complicated than he thought. I asked for another quote to do some general handyman work around the property and contracted directly with the employee to complete. I gave a $1500 deposit for materials and assumed he would start when the fence was done. He complained about losing money on the job. He said his credit was bad so he couldn’t rent the paint sprayer. Out of kindness I went to Home Depot and rented it in my name and paid for it even though it was part of the contract. He took about two weeks off for the holidays. I started to pester him to finish. Multiple times via text he said he would come to finish. I started to ask for the materials or a refund for my handyman contract. He also promised multiple times via text he would make it right. He dropped off a piece of wood for a shelf and promised a partial refund by today. It’s 8:13 pm. He never called or made an attempt to reach out. So they take the money, slow walk the job or don’t finish. Called Randy the owner and he acted surprised but no offer to help."

"Grandview did an excellent job of remodeling our kitchen. We had visited two other kitchen remodelers before stopping by Grandview. At the first remodeler, the staff never helped us even though we looked around the showroom for 15 minutes. At the second, the staff was very helpful and generated a quick ballpark estimate of what our remodel would cost, but it turned out to be too pricey relative to the value of our home. When we walked into the Grandview showroom, we were immediately greeted by Joel, who talked to us about our needs and wants for the project. He started creating a plan which met our desires and was within our budget. He and his sister Susana (it is a family business) then visited our home to take measurements and look at what exactly we currently had and came up with additional suggestions for the project. Grandview then sent their electrician/plumber James (yes, he’s licensed in both trades) to review placement of lighting, electrical devices, outlets and switches and answer any questions we had. He was very helpful and based on his experience made suggestions on some lighting options we were unsure about. After a few more visits to the showroom to iron out details and select colors and components we signed the contract. The entire project was handled professionally from initial concepts and estimates to final plans and renderings through removal of old cabinets, counters, etc. and installation of new cabinets, counters, backsplashes, lighting, plumbing and reinstallation of our recently purchased appliances. Joel and Susana were always available to us during the entire project to answer questions, and they immediately took care of the few issues that arose. They were always professional and pleasure to talk with. The few glitches in the process (two cabinets that arrived damaged, incorrect drawer fronts supplied by the manufacturer and a shelf unit that fell off the delivery truck lift gate) were taken care of as quickly as the supply chain allowed (this is a time of major supply chain disruptions) and of course without cost to us. None of these issues were Grandview’s fault. Their installers, Randy and Steve, were absolutely superb and quickly took care of the few minor installation issues that popped up to our complete satisfaction. I later found out that Grandview had also remodeled my cousin’s kitchen, and she was also as impressed by their professionalism and quality of work as my wife and I were."
