"The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

"The company charged $4000 for a pop-up drainage system to prevent flooding in my stand-alone backyard office. When heavy rain came, it was apparent that the system in place was not working, and despite multiple emails, no one responded for six months. When they did, they sent workers out to do the same job that was already done. They also told me that the system in place would not work and should never have been placed and in the end, recommended I hire an irrigation company, stating that they are not an irrigation company and, when asked about a partial refund since the system placed did not work, they refused. In short, I cannot recommend this company. Poor work, poor customer service."

"We received a number of quotes from some of the Pro’s on Angi to have our driveway and walkways replaced. Superior Brick Pavers had the most reasonable pricing and they provided an excellent product. Kent and Jennifer are the owners, sales team and installers. Kent came out to provide a quote after I contacted them through Angi and I received an email from Jennifer that same day with all of the pricing info. My wife and I went down to their office to review the pavers that were available, made our selections and Jennifer got the process moving. Once the pavers were delivered to our house, an install date was scheduled and Kent and his crew showed up and got to work. The install was all completed in one day. Kent arrived bright and early and had all of the old concrete removed and hauled away within the first hour. His crew arrived and it was like a well-oiled machine. Everything was staked out, the aggregate was put down and leveled and the pavers were installed and sanded. All the debris was removed, and everything was cleaned up. We also scheduled for the pavers to be sealed and Jennifer arranged for that to be taken care of. Their sealer person also did an excellent job of completing the project. Concrete deliveries FAQs
The amount of space that one yard of concrete covers depends on your desired thickness. The thicker the concrete is, the greater the volume it needs to fill to cover the same surface area. With four inches of thickness, one cubic yard of concrete covers 81 square feet. With five inches of thickness, one cubic yard covers 65 square feet. With six inches of thickness, one cubic yard covers 54 square feet.
Ready-mixed concrete in its wet form lasts about 90 minutes to two hours, so it’s important to schedule your concrete delivery accurately. From the time water gets added, a truck has up to 300 rotations of the barrel to deliver the wet concrete. The warmer the temperature, the faster the product sets.
Bags of dry concrete mix have a typical shelf life of a few months if stored in an airtight container with controlled temperature and humidity. The cement reacts to moisture in the air, losing its strength over time.
Most large concrete trucks can hold a maximum of 11 to 15 cubic yards of concrete. However, weight limits on most roads can limit this capacity to around eight to 11 cubic yards per delivery. For context, you’ll need three to four truckloads of concrete to pour a 10-inch foundation for a new home that covers 1,000 square feet.
Assuming the work site has been fully prepped and is reasonably accessible for the concrete delivery truck, pouring one cubic yard of concrete takes about 10 minutes on average. A fully loaded truck with 10 cubic yards of concrete takes around one hour and 40 minutes of continuous pouring to empty its barrel.
