"Mike called me promptly and was the only one that I talked to who was able or willing to give me a rough estimate over the phone. Since his rough estimate seemed reasonable, I went ahead and gave him the job. He was friendly and professional. He came with another young man named Daniel and they both did a great job. They put two outlets in the basement - one for a refrigerator and one for a microwave and coffee maker. Then they hooked up a light fixture that had previously been hung. I thought the price was reasonable, they did it quickly and as I said were polite and professional and friendly. I would highly recommend that!"

"Had quick availability and gave upfront quote about pricing before work started. Thoroughly checked all the reasons I had with my electrical issue. Felt comfortable with him in my home (masked, stayed socially distant). Will look to hire for future work."

"What I like about Tiger Plumbing is that before they come out they send you and text message with the picture of the tech with a profile and I that is very good. You can also track them while they are on their way. They were very personable."

For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesMaryville Electricians are rated 4.5 out of 5 based on 484 reviews of 484 pros.
