"Stay FAR away from this man! He is a thief!!!! Initially I reached out because my freezer went out and he had pretty good reviews. He was responsive up until he got all of our money. He came out once and the issue was not resolved. It was like pulling teeth to get him to come back out. He eventually did after canceling on us twice and lo and behold the issue still persisted. He never fixed the issue. I followed up with him again to see when he would come out for a third time. This man is completely ignoring me. The lack of professionalism is absolutely astounding. I have no desire to do any further business with this man so I asked for a full refund. We paid $300 to have our freezer fixed and this man stole our money and never fixed the issue and continues to ignore me. I asked him to refund us all of our money and he blocked me! Now Im going to have to take him to court because hes a piece of crap. He will steal your money then block you and these screenshots are proof!!"

"Our project turned out better than we expected and as things were going along, we added more projects. Patryk, Greg and their team did a fantastic job. They were always so nice to work with, even suggesting things which was helpful. They never left a project until they thought it was perfect. We did a full kitchen remodel, even closing off a window to move a fridge and pantry to the other side to allow more cabinets and much needed counter space. They widen the entrance and the kitchen seems so much bigger. We think it’s Beautiful! They did laminated floors throughout the first floor, painted all walls and new baseboards. They created a wine bar which was just a cubby hole. They put in a pantry like cubby hole in our laundry room and added cabinets and above wall unit. One of the projects we had them add is new wooden stairs to the 2nd floor, white spindles and railing that curves instead of a wall and laminate floors on the 2nd floor. Other odd and ends that they never hesitated to do. We appreciate all they have done in our home, To us, it’s amazing how nice it is and how it should have been all the years we have lived here. Its exciting to show it off, it feels like a new house. These guys are amazing and would definately recommend them to anyone. Very reliable and easy to get in contact with when needed. "I spoke with 3 general contractors regarding the project and chose Jakubek. Dawid and his father were punctual, responsive with follow-up questions, and provided a reasonable quote. Even though I read their highly recommended reviews on Angi's website, I was still nervous about picking a contractor. However, now that the project is completed, I can honestly say Jakubek Inc- father, son, & team were amazing! They shifted cabinets in my kitchen island and installed a new granite countertop to make space for a new 36-inch range to replace my 30-inch range. In addition, they created a new vent plus electrical and installed a new hood. They removed the existing sink and cabinet in the powder room and installed a new cabinet, sink, countertop, and mirror. I moved my furniture out of the main level to have hardwood floors refinished and realized how badly the walls needed to be repainted. They were able to accommodate a last-minute request to paint interior walls and ceiling. Admittedly, the breakdown price for refinishing the hardwood floors was a few thousand more than other quotes, but I liked the continuity of having 1 contractor handle all details. Jakubek removed the quarter-round modeling, the floors were refinished (looked fantastic!) and then re-installed new quarter-round modeling. The team also installed tiles by the backdoor entrance because previously, it was hardwood, and the floor was so damaged by tracking in water/snow. Honestly, I could not ask for a better contractor - so nice, trustworthy, helpful, and felt very comfortable having the team in the house to do the work. I will definitely recommend their work and use them for any future projects."

We got a few quotes and ultimately went with Homewise Remodelers because the price was reasonable and Miro was so thorough in walking us through our options. He helped us select cabinets and worked through several versions of the kitchen layout until we were happy with it--we were easily able to swap out cabinet layouts and finishings, like adding a farmhouse sink. His crew were reliable, on-time, and respectful of our property throughout the remodel and we appreciated their attention to detail. They solicited our input on decorative details and were quick to fix things we didn't like, e.g., the location of kitchen cabinet pulls. We felt they treated our home as they would their own.
