Brad had over 15 years of experience in the industry and wanted to create a landscaping company that could hold true to the concept of “quality landscaping.” Ever since then we've been constantly growing as a high-end hardscape, landscape design, and commercial maintenance business. Over the course of our existence, we've earned a great reputation for quality service and we aim to not just maintain our reputation for excellence but to constantly improve it. That's why we only hire the best of the best. Our management team alone has over 30 years of experience in the industry and members of management used to maintain the White House. The rest of our team is similarly qualified and has over 100 years of combined experience. At SBC Outdoor Services we believe that landscaping is an art, not just a skill. "The hardscape was installed in 2019. From the onset, there were problems with SBC and it's staff: problems with not following design (it is supposed to be a semi-circle - see photos) stairs that had to be rebuilt three times, wrong color posts, failed to insert the post sleeve-skirts, cap stones were not glued, plants were not properly spaced, major damage to my driveway, damage to my solar lights, dumping construction waste on my neighbor’s property, and a sales rep who wouldn't return my calls. The facade of the hardscape developed a major crack months after being built, and again in 2022 (twice within 3 years). SBC designed the hardscape so that all rainwater would be flowing to the front of the retaining wall, causing structural damage to the wall. The owner of SBC, Brad, was aware of the flaw and tried to correct this flaw by installing a drain in front of the wall, but the wall continues to crack. The drain should have been installed in the center of the hardscape, elevating pressure on the front retaining wall. This major project came with a 60-month warranty. However, because SBC wants to skirt its responsibilities, the owner no longer wants to make repairs, and NOW states there was only a 36 month warranty. This hardscape project cost nearly 30K, and in return, I received sub-par workmanship, poor quality, unprofessional conduct, and a patio that continues to crack. The price was a little higher than other bids, but he presented the most professional ideas, demonstrated experience, and we were very confident with PVI. His crew was great, and they did a beautiful job. It was finished last November just before the weather got cold. We asked him back in the spring to trim up some of the concrete edges when were doing some landscaping and he came back out and finished it off. We are very happy with the work, and would definitely recommend."

Concrete patios, walks & steps installations FAQs
Concrete or brick paver installation costs $8 to $25 per square foot. You'll get individually placed bricks that can add variety and color. Materials and labor are both higher than a simple concrete slab but comparable to an intricate stamped and stained design. Make sure you discuss specifics with your patio contractor before the project begins so you can budget accordingly.
Building a concrete patio takes between two to four days from start to finish. This timeframe includes site preparation, forming, pouring, and curing the concrete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the complexity of your design, the patio size, weather conditions, and the availability of materials and labor. Projects with intricate designs or additional features will take longer to complete.
A well-maintained concrete patio can last 30 to 50 years. And often longer with something as simple as a resurfacing. Resurfacing concrete costs $4 per square foot on average. Like most other structures, the amount of care and maintenance you put into your patio will increase its longevity and help you enjoy it for years to come.
Extending your existing patio costs the same as any new patio, or $6 to $16 per square foot on average. For example, if you want to add 50 square feet to your existing patio, expect to pay somewhere between $300 to $800 (at minimum) for that extension. If you add any higher-end or specialty features, your costs will exceed this range.
