"Excellent father-son (and crew) team. Punctual at every step - from coming in for estimates, to providing them, to providing a project timeline and sticking to it. High quality work - we love the patio they built for us. Hard and efficient workers they do their best to stick to schedule and are very good at cleaning after themselves when they are done. Very reasonable pricing - they actively provide suggestions to limit costs. One of the best contractors I had at my home."

"Fran responded to my request for a quote right away, came and looked at the job within a few days, and got me a quote promptly. Fran explained his approach to fixing a pretty messed up floor in my house and his price felt very fair. He scheduled the job within a few days, and went out of his way to find additional tile for us, once we realized we needed something that was a weird size. Fran and James completed this job today, the floor looks beautiful, and they were incredibly professional and a delight to work with. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them for any flooring projects."

"Excellent work was recently done by Igli Hasa and his team! We needed a very old deck and hot tub removed from our property, and we also needed 2 sets of wooden stairs built for the remaining deck. The old deck and hot tub were gone in one day, and the stairs were built the next day. The Hasa Home Improvement team was professional, friendly, and explained exactly what they were doing. The work was quick, reasonably priced, and high quality. I would not hesitate to hire Hasa Home Improvement again, and we are already discussing additional projects."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
