"To begin the process, we made a phone call to West Shore Home for a representative to come to our home and give us a quote. Our Sales representative, Matthew Chaffee, was businesslike, efficient, and courteous. Everything Matthew explained actually happened during the two-day removal and installation of our old tub and two showers. Our installers (we had three crews due to the size and scope of the project), Blake, Johnny, Ashton, Coltrin, Colton, Max, Tim, and Edwin were all incredible to work with. They all knew exactly what needed to be done to make it happen even though the demolition of our basement shower was more than we all anticipated! They all listened to our concerns and were very responsive and had answers to every question when adjustments had to be made. Once the installation was complete, they all took extra time to clean up and make sure we were happy with the process and if there was anything extra that needed to be done. Thanks for the great experience with your company! We've already recommended West Shore Home to friends and family who think our new tub and showers are beautiful!"

"They were very easy to work with. The master bath remodel was quick and they were respectful of going through our house. The demolition work was done quickly. The tile work looks nice. They had all the connections for the plumber and the electrician."

"Could not be happier with the service. Joey was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Our sink was set up very oddly in an old house and it was not a problem for him to replace our garbage disposal. I highly recommend Thunder Mountain Contractors."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
