American Home Remodeling is a family owned full service remodeling company where the owners are the people you talk to for your project from start to finish. You don’t get bounced from department to department like with the big companies. We are involved every step of the way including putting on our tool belts on most projects. We are very proud to be at the very top of the remodelers on Angie’s list. We are there by providing our clients with High Quality work at competitive pricing. Our clients' reviews speak for themselves. The people we work for always feel that they have received more than their monies worth when we have completed their project. We leave the project having made new friends, and always end up with a new good reference. We hope to add you to our continual growing list of happy homeowners.

"My wife and I recently relocated from another state and had some extra money to invest in our new home, so we decided to partially finish our basement. While searching Google for basement remodeling services, we found two options. One was a company specializing solely in basement remodeling, but after scheduling a consultation, I quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit—every little detail came with an added cost, and there were too many unexpected “oh, by the way” expenses. Around the same time, we reached out to American Home Remodeling while gathering quotes. Nick met me at the house, and I walked him through the space, explained our vision, and shared our budget. From the start, he was straightforward and even suggested a few alternative approaches that, while slightly increasing our upfront cost, would ultimately save us time, money, and maximize the space. After reviewing their proposal, we signed a contract and moved forward with the project. What I appreciated most was how well-organized and efficient the entire process was—each step had a purpose and was completed on schedule. Permits were approved faster than expected, and construction began just before Thanksgiving. Since we were hosting family for the holiday, Scott and Nick were thoughtful enough to coordinate the dumpster’s arrival so it wouldn’t be an eyesore for our guests. Once the holiday passed, work resumed seamlessly. The project progressed smoothly—plumbing was completed on time, followed by framing, electrical, drywall/paint, flooring, and carpentry. Every contractor assigned to the job was professional, punctual, and knowledgeable, always available to answer my questions if Scott or Nick weren’t present. I was never left wondering what if—a few times, I had ideas mid-project, and Nick always provided his professional opinion before executing them flawlessly. The entire project lasted about three months, though it likely would have been completed sooner if not for the holiday season. Regardless, everything was strategically planned and executed on time. From a financial standpoint, the payment structure was transparent, with a clear breakdown of what percentage was due and when, based on project milestones. Scott would send a simple notification when a payment was due, but work continued without delay—even before payments were received. There was never any pressure, just a well-managed and trustworthy process. Fortunately, we had the funds and stayed on schedule with our payments. Prior to the basement project, we had already taken on a few other home improvements, including painting the interior and closing off a wall to add closet space. We hired another company for that work, but in hindsight, I wish we had discovered American Home Remodeling sooner to handle those projects as well. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with American Home Remodeling. Their professionalism, organization, and expertise made this project stress-free, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommend!"

The best skirting material for your mobile home depends on your needs and budget. Vinyl is an affordable and attractive option, but it doesn't hold up well in severe winds and storms. Consider stronger materials like brick or concrete blocks for enhanced durability and protection in harsh conditions. Faux stone and faux brick provide an appealing look with increased longevity. Consider your budget, local weather, and maintenance preferences to choose the best material for your home.

A complete skirting package includes every essential component necessary for a secure installation. It should come with the required trim pieces, reliable fasteners, and robust anchors to attach each panel to the ground firmly. In addition, quality packages may incorporate access doors and foundation vents to promote proper ventilation and simplify future maintenance. This comprehensive kit ensures your installation is both safe and visually cohesive.

Mobile home skirting offers several visual and functional benefits. It helps to protect your home from external elements by blocking drafts, guarding plumbing against freezing, and deterring pests from nesting underneath your mobile home. Skirting also conceals structural components, boosting your home's curb appeal and increasing its overall market value.

Consider additional projects alongside skirting installation to further enhance your mobile home’s appeal. For instance, building a deck or porch adds valuable outdoor space and improves overall aesthetics. Repainting the siding creates a cohesive, refreshed look that complements the new skirting perfectly. These integrated upgrades boost both functionality and curb appeal.
