Yes, it did mean that the job would cost more because you can't build a wall on shale, but Rob had thoroughly discussed with us ahead of time that you never know what you are going to find when you dig so we were definitely OK with having to deal with that. It also helps that First choice offers two year no interest financing. The work crew came in on Monday morning, twenty minutes before they said they would. I have a big basement, it took them two days from start to finish. When they were done, one of the guys gave me a walk around explaining everything. Boy, my basement never looked so clean and good. They were very professional, quick and left the basement immaculate. Highly appreciated. And here's the thing, the very next Sunday thru Monday, we had a rain storm and my basement was dry as a bone. I could actually see the water as it was coming out of the pipe outside my house from the sump pump. It's been predicted that this Sunday - Monday we're gonna have a worse rainstorm than last week.
