My basement floor was as level as it was the day it was built by the time they were done. It's been 6 months since the work was completed and the slab has not settled at all. Oh! They do traditional mud jacking using a very small amount of water mixed with powdered stone, not that foam garbage."

He thoroughly walked through everything with me to listen to what I wanted. He came up with better ideas and I went with his ideas. His stamp is very nice, he colored it green to go with our house color, and then my wife wanted gold flakes, so he did it lol. His guys are super nice and clean up after themselves. Funny part is, he did my other home with a driveway widening a few years ago so it was funny to cross paths with him again."

Patterson landscaping sub contracts the physical work and I felt the subcontractors sometimes lacked the vision for the project, but nothing would happen until we were satisfied with the layout and plan. Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.
Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.
No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
