"Andy was great - efficient, knowledgeable, and communicative. Most importantly, he was key in helping us to think through our basement space and how it could be utilized most effectively (for example, he suggested placing a closet in a specific location because it could be easily converted to a bathroom down the road should we, or future owners, want to do so). While we experienced delays in receiving materials due to current supply chain issues, Andy was in constant contact with us with updated timelines. And, of course, the finished product is beautiful and high quality. I would have no reservations about recommending Apex for any renovation needs!"

"We hired Jaime for an attic door replacement. He came quickly for a quote and gave us a fair price. He did a good job with the attic door replacement and cleaned up well after. I would recommend him and use him again."

"Anderson is a miracle worker, installing a shower in our basement bathroom when other contractors said it couldn’t be done or would be outrageously expensive. Anderson did the work in a short time, cleaned up all the debris and left it spotless. His cost was very reasonable and he used his contractor’s discounts for the materials. He communicates very well so I knew when he was coming and going. I was consulted at every step. I highly recommend Home Innovation!!!"

"CT Basement systems did a wonderful job on the walls that were flood damaged. Their overall system is great. We didn't need the total renovation but if we did, we would certainly have had them do it. After researching others, this was the best."

"Wow, what a transformation! When I decided to remodel my basement from barely usable junk collector to a livable apartment style space, I knew I needed the best. Interval Home Design truly delivered beyond expectations. From the get-go, their team was all inĂ¢ providing layout ideas, and interior design suggestions I never would've thought of myself. They even provided precise floor planning that made the construction phase a breeze. The project ran smoothly, finished on budget and two days early. I'm over the moon with how everything turned out and canĂ¢ t recommend them enough!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
