"Highly NOT Recommended! I have used Delaware Plumbing Professionals more than once. The first time, although not inexpensive, the job was done well. The second time, I called them to diagnose a problem with my sump pump. The pump was only one year old and was malfunctioning. I was told that, since they didn’t install the pump, the only option they could offer was to install a brand-new pump, which would cost around $2,000. I said, "Thank you," paid $65 for the visit, and that was it. The pump was later fixed with a simple tweak. Today, I called them for the third time to look at a leaking shower and a leaking garbage disposal. I was informed that to change the leaking gasket at the top of the disposal, they would charge me the price of a full disposal replacement, which is over $450, for less than one hour worth of work (I asked). As for the leaking shower, even though I clearly identified the leaking plunger (a $20 part), I was told they couldn’t address it and could only offer a replacement of the entire shower valve inside the wall, which I assume would be a job costing a few thousand dollars. Wasted another $65 for their useless visit."

"From start to end the kitchen renovation process went extremely well. Don made sure to include me through it all and made sure I was pleased with each step. Whenever a decision is needed, Don explains the options and impact of each. He and his employee, also named Don, are prompt every day and attentive to details. Gary gave us great advice about what could be done within our budget and offered suggestions that truly added to the quality of the outcome for the space we were working with. His staff have a superior work ethic and Gary checked in on site often to be sure the project was moving forward and consistently kept us up to date on the progress of the renovation. When we asked for some changes to the original plan he was courteous and patient in providing us with what we needed. We were really surprised at how quickly the renovation progressed and how the quality of work was maintained along the way. "They truly live by the code of "you get what you paid for". The price was cheaper than expected (and they included a free estimate too). So ultimately, our slow bathtub drain was cleared. However, the technician had terrible housekeeping. After stripping the caulking around the overflow valve, they left the caulking pieces in the bathtub and told us to flush them down the drain (?!). They said the provided bio solution would clear the pieces just fine...but why do that when a trash can is less than a foot away?? Then, they did not offer to reseal the valve they just opened...just left a mess for us to pick up. As such, we will not be using them again next time...free estimate or not. If we wanted the bare minimum, we would have done it ourselves."

"Fabulous! We needed our water conditioner serviced and other company wouldn't touch it because they didn't install it and just wanted to sell us a new one. Rebecca scheduled us for the following day! Steve Venditti was great, has 20 years of experience and knew what he was doing. He spoke with the manufacturer and they decided what needed to be done. He had the parts on his truck and 4 hours later the job was done. $500 included parts and labor and service call. Very fair price and excellent service. Totally professional. Highly recommend."
