"3 Son’s Siding & Gutters LLC did my roof about four months ago.They came and gave me a price that was more than fair…3 Son’s were very professional,work very safely.They stripped two layers, found that they had to get plywood and replace the whole roof, it was a bit more but they did the plywood, re-shingled the roof in the one day.i was very impressed with the way all the workers did what needed to be done. The job was done in a day and a half,all the mess was picked up went around the house with magnets picking up all the nails.All I can say I believe they are very professional, very concerned about how my property was left I think it was cleaner than when they started.Very good crew did a great job couldn’t be any happier. Flat roofs should generally be recoated every three to five years, depending on the climate. Since they don’t have a slope to help them avoid rain and sunlight, they wear out more quickly than a pitched roof.
If you have an EPDM rubber roof, it likely resists weather damage already and shouldn’t ever need to be recoated. Many roof coatings don’t work on EPDM roofs either, so make sure to double-check with the manufacturer before applying any. If your EPDM roof starts to leak, you’ll usually have to apply a new layer instead of resealing it.
Most homeowners insurance policies only cover roof damage caused by single, specific events, such as fires, stormy weather, or falling trees. Homeowners insurance usually doesn’t cover roof coating or sealing since these are routine repair jobs that come with normal wear and tear.
