"I hired ID Renovation for new kitchen countertops and sink in my home. They did such an amazing job from start to finish! They took the time to help me find the perfect color countertop and had it installed in record time. My kitchen design includes a ledge extending out a window and they were able to cut it precisely to fit. I strongly recommend ID Renovation and plan to use them again for other projects I have planned."

"I want to share my endorsement of David Graf Construction, Inc. I just bought a house with a 600 sq/ft deck that was not structurally sound. It was the peak of Covid and I couldnâ t get a contractor to show up for scheduled appointments. While driving in the neighborhood, I found David Graf on a job and asked him to come by and review my situation. While he was busy managing several jobs and booked out more months, he took pity on me and graciously came by and assessed my situation. He immediately recognized issues could not wait. He sent me a quote that evening and had a crew on-site a day later. The scope of work included structural improvements and a staircase for the deck. He connected me with a designer & engineer and got it all permitted with the county in record time. A few weeks later the work was completed within time estimate and on budget. The crew was fantastic, respectful & polite and always left the worksite tidied and free of debris. More importantly, the quality of work was exceptional. If you have a need for a general contractor for a construction project, I highly recommend you talk to David Graf of David Graf Construction, Inc."

"My experience with Team Farrell was an excellent one. I renovated my condo by replacing all carpeted and tiled floors with a Pergo laminate floor that looks like hardwood. The interior walls and trim were repainted. My kitchen was completely renovated (new cabinetry, appliances, quartz counter top, fixtures and tile back splash). I made my purchase through Lowe's and signed a contract with them, but they in turn contracted out the work to Team Farrell. I was assigned a Team Farrell project manager who oversaw several other teams (Farrell Plumbing, Farrell Power, tile setters, flooring and woodwork team, painters, etc.) Every one of these craftsmen were highly skilled, polite, and treated my home and the work they were doing with the same care and respect they would if it were their own home. Each evening I was sent both a text message and an email advising which Team Farrell worker/team would be arriving the following morning and when he was expected. The text message also included a photograph of the worker for ID purposes. The demolition of my home began on June 28th and the job was completed in full on August 1st (5 weeks) although I was forewarned by Team Farrell that a job of the size I was undertaking could take 6 to 8 weeks or longer dependent on availability of work teams, subcontractors, weather, or other factors. They were very honest about that. But once they started the job they continued to move forward until the job was completed. I was particularly impressed with the craftsmanship, artistry and attention to every minor and major detail by Team Farrell. They kept me in the loop throughout the process, assisting me with making decisions as each arose (such as grout color, trim decisions, direction the floors would run, etc.) At the end of each workday they did an excellent job of cleaning up my home and hauling away all the garbage. I am very happy with the end result and I would not hesitate to contract with Team Farrell in the future. They have my unqualified recommendation."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
