"I contacted Russell Hill Contracting, LLC, for minor roof repair (replacing/reattaching 6-8 shingles) after recent storms. We were eager to get the shingles replaced/reattached because more rain and storms were forecasted for later in the day and over the next few days. Mr. Baker came to our house late afternoon of the same day I contacted the company. Earlier that morning, I spoke with someone from another company that was going to charge $375 for an appointment within 24 hours as an 'emergency service call'. The emergency service call would include an inspection of the damage and an estimate for work that would be performed in ~ 10 days. A tarp could be placed as temporary remediation to prevent damage with the forecasted rain, and the cost would be included when the work was subsequentally performed."

"What a pleasure to do business with! Jason inspected the project and gave me a clear and fair proposal. They scheduled the work quickly and showed up right on time. It was a relatively small job, and other companies I contacted couldn't be bothered. Shed roof replacement and siding repair was completed in a day, and the crew left the yard and driveway in pristine condition. They even used a blower on the driveway! "AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. This is the worst company in the entire state and if you allow them onto your property or entertain the possibility of using them to repair your roof IT WILL BE THE BIGEST MISTAKE YOU WILL EVER MAKE. The con starts right from the start with the door hangers and company info they use to promote their company. They DO NOT have an A+ rating with the BBB - in fact read all the complaints that have been filed with the BBB about this company. They are a NOT a member of the National Roofing Contractors Association - this was confirmed by the NRCA who advised they were issuing a warning to Lexington Blue to remove this claim from their advertising. Pay no attention to the reviews that are on their website. They are padded with a lot of ratings done by the staff and owner. We found out about that info from two of their staff after they left the company. To get real understanding about the type of operation Lexington Blue runs, read the BBB complaints, read the YELP reviews, read the Google reviews - Read the Reddit’s that about this company - their bad service, their false advertising - their out of control sign campaigns - it will make you sick to see what this company is doing and make you question how they have been allowed to remain in business and continue to mislead customers, take their money and not do the work or if they do the work it will be sub par and will just lead to further repairs and damages to your home. I was one of those homeowners who answered the door in August of 2024 and fell for their false credentials and matching polo shirts and the reviews on THEIR website. They inspected my roof, called my insurance company, filed a claim and callled or texted Everyday to see if my insurance company had sent the check for the claim yet. As soon as the check came they showed up at our door. Requested the full amount of the claim and advised that they would file for the supplementals and they would perform the room repairs in the next 4 to 6 weeks. I could go on and on and give you a detailed overview of the nightmare that would follow but let me give you the quick overview of what has occurred and what we are still dealing with almost 7 months later. Hundreds of unanswered telephone calls and text message, more lies and broken promise that you can even imagine, discovering the hundreds of dissatisfied customers that they have and are currently scamming. Finding out that after the 4 to 6 weeks had passed that their was a queue of over 300 customers ahead of us and they would call when we were next in line. After the false advertising and missing their deadline I asked for my deposit back and advised them I would go elsewhere and being informed that it take 6 to 10 weeks and they charge 15% for cancelling a job. If you do get a refund even a partial one it can bounce when you put it in your bank (read the story of what that customer went through and their reviewof this company). Getting letters from this company saying that we had been approved for the supplemental claims and gave directions to call them when that check arrived so that they could get that money as well so that the repairs would happen on time. This was 12 weeks into this ordeal and after calling our insurance company we were advised that it was all a lie and they had filed for nothing. They ignore Letters of Demand even after getting it via certified mail. I am 66 years old and have a home that my mother and I own. She is 86 years old and has advanced Parkinson’s. We are having to hire an attorney and sue this company to get our money returned to us so I can have the repairs done to our roof that is going to require even more repairs than it did when this all started. Please avoid getting conned by this group. Read about the owner, stay clear of the employee Danny Liponi - he will lie and con you out of every cent he can and then just stop taking your calls. This should not be possible for this company to be allowed to remain open"

"These guys were awesome. From the 1st guy and last guy I talked to, Sam. And everyone in between. Sam kept in touch with me throughout the process that took longer than we thought due to weather. From snow to thunderstorms, it was not cooperating. And yes, in Indiana you can have both of those things within a week. This may not be typical but I got more work done than I was expecting. And it's not that I told them to do it but it needed done. And they always asked me 1st. Good company. The work is pristine."
