"I can't say enough about Hector and his team. It was a big project involving tearing out an old rotting wooden retaining wall and installing one with interlocking blocks -- a LOT of blocks along a very long stretch, multiple levels, and in a place that machinery could not easily reach. I put it out for multiple bids, and some people just make up (higher) numbers. Hector's bid was very competitive, maybe even the lowest, and he did more work than anyone else was proposing to do. In particular, an additional design element that he proposed (he was the only one I talked to who took the time to find out what I liked and didn't like and made a creative suggestion for something new, rather than just replacing what the old one looked like). And then the team was all super professional and friendly, took the time needed to do the job right and it was a lot of very hard work. We've been getting a lot of compliments on the results. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat."

When I called Luis, the owner, regarding the work, he got back to us immediately. He came out to look at the job and he gave us a very fair estimate on this job and another job that we wanted to also have done in our basement. The installation of the new concrete floor took a few days. Luis' workers were always punctual, respectful, and they maintained a consistent work schedule each day. At the end of each day, they would always leave our property in a neat and presentable manner. Each day Luis would visit the job site to check out and inspect the work. He also always made himself available to answer any of our questions or concerns. It is important to know that at the outset of the job, Luis took the time to explain to us how he and his team were going to approach the work. "Danny and his team are incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of home remodeling, work hard and fast, maintain excellent communication, and do it at a fair, no-surprises cost. They took on a project that turned into a gut renovation of our 100-year-old basement and turned a dank, cramped pair of rooms into a bright, functional space where my kids can play safely and I can work comfortably. They demo'ed an old kitchen, knocked out walls, built custom cabinetry and storage, rerouted piping and electrical components, even took time to experiment to make a match for the disrupted floor tiles. They painted the walls, painted and stained the steps, and did other projects like hang a new attic door and install a new toilet. I will be calling Champion exclusively for all my future home maintenance/improvement needs. Cannot recommend them enough."
