"David and his team were excellent! They did a beautiful job renovating our master bathroom. The quality of their work was absolutely top-notch. The work was also very organized and well-planned â David had all the equipment and materials ready to go each day and coordinated work with subcontractors. The team was conscientious and considerate, they respected our home, and they thoroughly cleaned the worksite at the end of each day. For the quality of work done, the price was fair, and the work was done ahead of time. David and his team are a rare find!"

"I hired Hernandez welding off the home advisor site, which he canceled on me TWICE (which I had to call him to find that out)!!! So continued to look for a welder & came across RJM welding (Garth), he was very professional, came the same day, took the product & returned the following day with job WELL DONE, even took the liberty to weld the other legs to avoid any further problems, mind you his price was HALF the price of Hernandez welding, which is why I chose to tip him, very courteous & PROFESSIONAL, I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM TO OTHERS... Good thing I got overlooked by Hernandez, because I got the task done sooner & cheaper ..."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
