"I am extremely dissatisfied with Power Home Remodeling, and I am at a loss for where to begin. I added 2 pictures with the rest of my review to describe every detail of our siding and windows projects as it was too long to post here. PLEASE REVIEW THE 2 PICTURES I ATTACHED WITH THE DETAILS BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! Overall, the work is subpar at best! It's not worth the money. In my profession, I've been a project manager; I would've never signed off on an incomplete and unprofessional job like this. It's a rushed and botched job. I called Power Home Remodeling this morning (4/3/25) to request they come out to fix 2 things that were obvious to the eye. The earliest they can come is June 13, 2025. Then, when my electrician was here to give me a quote on hooking up our pool, he noticed that the electrical work he had done on the outside of the house (clamping down the new wires to our updated electrical panel) - Power Home Remodeling left all the electrical wires unclamped! Then when we were in the backyard, and I was looking at the back of the house, I started to notice a lot of things out of place. Gaps in the siding, bulging siding, siding that is coming out of place, etc. Remind you, the siding was only done in October 2024, and it's April 2025! Now I have to call Power Home Remodeling again to let them know that I caught 28 additional things besides the 2 things I called them about this morning. Again, this job was not worth the money; they sold us on things that we truly didn't have, like a dedicated project manager who would check the completed project, and there was such a lack of professionalism. I've worked with many contractors in the past, and by far, this was the absolute worst experience! The company has provided poor service and unprofessional work. Even though a Project Manager finally came out in October 2024, it's April of 2025 and I've noticed 30 additional things that they did not notice (it's their job to find these flaws in the project). Not only did they fail to meet basic expectations, but they also sold us on promises, such as the presence of a dedicated project manager, which they did not fulfill. We deserve to have these issues resolved promptly, and they should significantly reduce our bill (by thousands of dollars) to reflect the subpar work. We paid $44,000 for a project that was rushed and poorly executed. I will be escalating this matter to corporate and intend to pursue this issue until it is resolved."

One of the reasons I chose AHR was not just due to the best price, they came in line with other estimates I received, but because they included things with their final price that similar companies had as add-ons at an extra cost such as the dumpster and gutter system. I did not know what to expect as this was the first time I've had these things replaced. My rep John was awesome, he was professional, friendly and accommodating, and was able to work with me on the spot vs. "I have to check back to the owners" which I got from other companies. John was readily available by phone, text, and in person. He walked me through all the steps, timelines, and the whole process. After the crew finished, he took my list of 'nit-pick' things and made sure they were addressed. "I’ve been a customer of Wilber’s for several years. Up till now I’ve always found them to be reasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don’t know what’s happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber’s decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It’s sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it’s certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with."

The top of the wainscoting should be set at one-third of the room’s height. So, for a standard room with nine-foot ceilings, the wainscoting should extend exactly three feet. Wainscoting can make a room look smaller if the room has low ceilings. The same rule applies with wainscoting as it does with painting any space: In order to make the room look larger and more open, paint it a light color like white or cream.
