"Mark Mayle, the owner, came and met with us to discuss our needs. He was on time and very informative about the types of windows and doors possible. He had someone come out to measure and, when the windows were installed by a team of two, installation was done efficiently and correctly. No mess was left behind. We have been warm and toasty with our new windows this winter. I look forward to spring cleaning when it will be so much easier to clean these new installs rather than the separate window/storm/screen system we had with our original windows. I have had many workers in our house as we have done renovations on this 1920s bungalow since we bought it in 2017. Nexgen is one of the best companies we have worked with. Appointments are kept, work is professional with high quality materials. We have them coming back to replace our basement windows with sliders in May. I'd have them back if we had more windows to do and would recommend them highly to anyone looking for quality window installation at a reasonable price."

"The positive: Graves Brothers will provide a quote for PARTIAL Siding projects where most companies won't talk to you unless you need a FULL Siding project. The installation team was quick and did a nice job. The Cons: Deceptive Sales. Your Typical Residential Home Services contactor. I had a complete east side siding replacement quoted. There is a 24" "Jog wall" between the exterior garage wall and the living quarters wall. Their quote included photos that show this wall in one of the views. A second photo shows the entire length of the wall outlined that includes this jog wall, but they did not replace the siding on this wall. A conversation BEFORE the project work started questioned if I intended on having the wall replaced and it was agreed that it should have been part of the proposal. The installers DID NOT replace the siding on this wall. I asked for a simple $500 credit and was willing to settle for a $350 credit which was more than fair. The Salesman insisted that seeing the wall was not assigned a "wall number" therefore it was not included in their proposal. Graves Brothers displayed ZERO interest in coming to a mutual agreement on the discrepancy. Update 7/19/2024: After continued conversations, the Sales Rep finally conceded that after speaking with his installers, that the work WAS included in the initial estimate and should have been completed. I gave Graves Brothers the option of discounting the price or returning to finish the work. They chose to finish the work which is scheduled this week. IMO, Speaking to his installation team should have been done PRIOR to him taking a flat stance with me that they were right and I was wrong. Give Graves Brothers Home Improvements a 3-Star rating for (finally) doing what was right. The installation was done well and the installers were professional, courteous and cleaned up well. Just make sure you document all conversations and get them in writing up front."
