"I have found my forever electricians (at least while I live in the New Haven area)! From start to finish my experience with Power Forward was an absolute pleasure. Company owner, Ian, was responsive, punctual, and incredibly informative when it came to walking me through the details of the scope of work I was requesting, and was thoroughly transparent and fairly priced when it came to his estimate. Once we accepted the quote, scheduling with Morgan was easy and efficient, and Chris arrived onsite within a day of me accepting the estimate. Chris was a consummate professional, a super clean worker when it came to caring for our house and the cleanliness of his cable paths, and was truly dedicated to doing the job â the right wayâ not just the easy and cheap way. He took his time and planned his cable runs and circuiting carefully to ensure both minimal cutting into our walls and convenient receptacle placement. Once he was finished, he took care to clean every area heâ d worked in and probably left some of the rooms cleaner than when he arrived! I would recommend Ian and Power Forward to anyone who appreciates work that is done with care, safe, and efficient. "We replaced the original roof on our house. I expressed my concerns about re-installation of the lightening rods to my roofer. We have had at least three direct hits since they were originally installed in 2013. My roofer called William who was very helpful. William offered to come out an make sure everything was 100% after re-installation. He came the day after I called and I'm glad he did. While the reinstall was the best he had seen (his words) there were issues after 5 year and 3 strikes that needed addressed. He fixed those and now I have a new roof and I am certain the lightening rods will work as intended. Highly recommend this company."

"Eddie and his team did excellent job of replacing an exhaust fan with lights in our bathroom. They are professional, responsible and caring. They did perfect work beyond what we expected. We will hire them for all of our electrical needs. Highly recommended!"

"I called him on the 14th and asked him how much it would cost to install gfcis and he said 50 dollars and a service fee of 175 dollars. I said fine and to come the next day. On the 15th he came without the hardware to install the gfci so I had him fix a circuit breaker and light switch. He said he would come the next day to install the gfcis which he did and he fixed a power outlet. The gfcis took 30 minutes and the other electrical work took an hour. His hourly rate is 150 and the cost of installing the gfcis is 50 dollars plus the service charge was 175 so I expected to pay 375. Instead he charged me 935.27 and when I argued he said he would seek litigation. Under duress I paid him by credit card 935.27"

"We had a furnace installed by Harp on July 8th 2024 after it being diagnosed by their technician as to the reason our ac system was not functioning properly. That’s when our troubles with Harp began. The installation was not done properly, we needed 3 service calls to get the ac to work properly. The installers were sloppy. We cleaned up screws and wire and parts from the old furnace for weeks. When heating season began we noticed that the humidifier installed with the furnace was not operating. We scheduled an appointment to have it repaired and they called the day of the appointment and told us they couldn’t come that day and we had to reschedule, so reluctantly we did. They finally came and repaired it. From what the technician told me it was not wired properly. On January 21st 2025( the coldest night of the year) the furnace stopped working. We called Harp to get someone to come to repair it as we had no heat in below 0º weather I was told the best they could do is to come the next day between 2 and 6 pm. I tried to explain that this was an emergency but to no avail. I called my local oil company and they were at my door within 30 minutes( which I would’ve expected from the company who sold us the furnace) the repaired it quickly and told us that one f the wires on the control panel was not attached properly. It cost me $300. I would NOT recommend Harp to anyone. They are not reliable and do not stand behind their promises of service 24/7. Stay as far away from this company as possible. We are sorry we ever started with them."

"It went very well. He said it would take about 5-6 hours, the job was done in three hours. Great comunication. Very happy with the work and outcome. They cleaned up very good when done. I will be calling them again to drop a few more line for me soon."
