"The Job: Work was satisfactorily completed except this vendor should be supervised. -Gate panels replaced were well done and shaped like previous, but were not sanded on top, leaving a 'rip cut' finish. -Fencing Repair completed, post replaced, sagging addressed, BUT dislodged two panels further down the fence...basically, dno ue diligence in checking their work and unintentional impacts. -Minor debris left behind, did not impress. NO SHOW for original estimate request... insisted they had provided an estimate already! They wrongly a**-u-med the address they went to coincidentally on same day was mine (different project)! Attention to customer care missing... Rule #1: NEVER argue with customer / client, specially when you the contractor are wrong! Would not process through Angi Pay, because they are afraid of fraud? Why are they here?"

"Cervantes Maintenance came highly recommended by my real estate agent to give my neglected yard a makeover. The first items were functional, trim and shape a giant rose bush and laurel (hedge row) inside the yard along with overgrown vines and lavender sprawl along an extensive retaining wall. Next came the magic. The north and east (front) sides of the house get little sun. Grass was patchy, soil uneven and steep, and moss was destroyed by crows eating the grub infestation. Cervantes treated the soil for grubs and came up with a dramatic landscape design replacing the grass with a flat stone walk way and level patio, gravel and mulch, with a drainage system. They also pressure washed the walkways and front steps, making my entire yard welcoming and brand new. The whole project took two days. Crews worked tirelessly in the rain. The trees were near the lot line, a fair distance from the neighbor's driveway and the street both uphill. We both agreed that it would work well for him to "roll up" 2 sections of fencing between the yards and the neighbor was fine with that. Everyone also was in agreement about what he would leave (16-18" rounds for her to use in her fireplace) and what he would take (branches put through the chipper). Two days later he and his crew came and did as promised. One person climbed each of the trees, cutting branches from the bottom up. Then the tree trunk itself down in sections.
