"Update from 20 Jan 2026: I`ve been a repeat customer of Keep Smiling Plumber, Electrical, Heating and Cooling in the past for several home-related repairs. After having an unfortunate experience with Keep Smiling PEHC during my most recent service, I had some misgivings about the company and whether I would return as a customer. In regards to their customer service, everyone that I`ve engaged with (technicians, onsite supervisor, receptionist) has always been professional and courteous which goes a long way with me. The issue that I had was technical in nature and left me with some dissatisfaction regarding the quality of work. After speaking with leadership of this organization Mr. Powell and Ms. Amy ,I believe that they hold the highest standards and expectations for their employees and ensure that any work-related issues are duly addressed/resolved. I can sincerely say that they have regained my confidence and trust in contacting them in the future for my future HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing home needs. The manager I spoke with told me that there wasn`t any way the damage of the pump could come from the technician doing a drain and flush of the water heater. He told me that it would cost $1200 to replace the pump on the water heater. After speaking with the manager at Keep Smiling, I called another company which I`ve seen before in the community and spoke with a plumber and explained to him what happened. The technician at the other company told me that the pump could definitely be damaged if the pump was still plugged up and not turned off while the water heater was being drained and flush. I called the manager at Keep Smiling and shared those details with him and he replied that he understands what I`m saying but there was nothing he could do about it. I told him that I don`t have any reason to lie about any of this and felt very frustrated and cheated by the fact that I went in expecting for them to do a maintenance check for $59 for plumbing but ended up spending a $1000 for new. "A waterline leak was suspected due to increasing water bills. On the first visit, David, from the Original Plumber, performed a pressure test and subsequently discovered an area of water puddling in my yard. David wrote up two estimates for me to consider: (1) only repair the affected area where the waterline was leaking and (2) a complete waterline replacement from meter to house. Due to a full transferable lifetime warranty provided by the Original Plumber on the waterline and the fact that David agreed to perform two complete toilet rebuilds for no additional cost, I chose the complete waterline replacement. The complete waterline replacement and the toilet rebuilds were started and completed in a very professional and efficient manner the next day. After digging the trench for the new waterline, it turned out, due to the condition of the existing waterline in relation to the location of the water leak, that a complete waterline replacement was the only option I had after all. Fortunately, I had service line coverage as part of my homeowners' insurance and was able to get a full reimbursement of my costs (less my deductible) for the work performed. When working through the claim with the insurance agent, I became aware that select staff of the Original Plumber were instrumental in providing them with additional information needed for my claim reimbursement and I appreciate that."
