"It's with disappointment that I am writing this review and will probably not utilize Homeadvisor again. I don't like writing reviews, especially bad ones for small contractors trying to make a living. Vasco Properties was hired to build an 1800sq foot addition under a residence that I had raised. I went with Vasco Properties because he was willing to do the rough framing, let me take over once framing was done and was offering me the chance to purchase materials at his price. When Vasco  first took the job and reviewed the plans, Adam, owner, advised he could have it done in two weeks. After the house was raised Adam suggested that I put a steel beam in to make lowering the house easier. He also advised that he could have a steel beam within three days. After getting approval from Engineer, the steel beam was ordered. It took two weeks for the beam to delivered, a "far cry" from three days. A second steel beam had to be ordered for another area of the house and it took around three weeks for that delivery. If Adam had stuck to the original plans all that time wasted waiting for beams would not have occured. While I believe Adam and his crew did a good job, he has been horrible when it comes to communication. I have texted, called and sent emails throughout this entire process that will go unanswered most of the time. As I write this review, Adam has not responded to an email sent last week or responded to a detailed voicemail left on his cellphone."

"Esham Builders helped my wife and I build a modern 4-season sun porch to replace an old modular 3-season porch that had seen better days. They worked with us every step of the way to make sure the final product was exactly what we wanted. All of the workers and contractors were cordial and professional. Larry, our job foreman, was wonderful, diligently staying on top of the job as the work progressed, making changes as necessary, and moving things along as quickly as possible while adeptly handling weather, scheduling, and permit issues. The carpenter who installed the tongue-in-groove cypress on the walls and ceiling was a master craftsman. His work was exceptional. We highly recommend Esham Builders and would use them again in the future."

"Olgun completed several projects for me at two locations. He built a closet, installed guardrails on the basement staircase, painted rooms, installed outside cameras, installed shower doors, replaced siding, and more. He is polite, professional, and timely. He does quality work at a good price. I recommend Olgun for large and small jobs."

"The principals of Nelson Construction, LLC are disreputable home improvement contractors and they are plagued by malicious dispositions. They are thoroughly untrustworthy and suffer from delusions of intellectual prowess in their paltry attempts to prey on honest homeowners, most especially the elderly or engage in vacuous verbal acrobatics. They are petty con artists who use substandard materials, work without the appropriate insurance, pull fraudulent permits from the county, are characterized by a thoroughgoing incompetent skill sets, and their work flunks code inspections. May one assume that they undoubtedly have a long history of cheating people in Delaware with these unprecedented deceptive credentials? They are a prime example of why our country has turned into a trash heap. The word "ethics" is thoroughly incomprehensible to them. "I hired First State Bath for converting a bath tub to a walk-in shower. I feel so thankful to them from introduction through job completing. They listened carfully to my requests and proposed a small suggestion, but it turned out very special to my need. It was choice of 54" long instead of 60". It adds space for easy moving in the bathroom. It might have no impact to most people, but is very helpful and special in my situation. The project is worked out very well with on time, clean and high quality. They did great job at very reasonable cost."

"Perfectly. The two man crew arrived at the appointed time, assessed what the job would require and went to work. One went to Home Depot for supplies, while his partner started immediately on the prep work. Job was completed in a very timely manner and the results are perfect. Couldn’t be happier about the experience!"
