"First of all, Chad, the business owner, far exceeds any other professionals I've hired in customer service. He is exceptionally strong at his communication and customer service skills, and keeps his commitments. This is just about unheard of, at least based on my many years of experience using HomeAdvisor - usually it's just always something with every single contractor, without exception, some kind of complication, failure to show up, miscommunication, something that happens where the project just never goes the way you'd like it to. Not the case in our tree trimming and removal project at all. Chad was constantly in contact. Yes we did have a delay but it was an unavoidable weather delay. AND they did the work on a Saturday. And they worked around our schedule, they weren't pushy about theirs. The quality of work was excellent. The trimming of the trees in our front yard that had low hanging branches was way better than we thought it would be. We can actually mow under these trees now! They also cut and removed dead pines and some red cedars. The crew was very good, we had one or two miscommunications with them and they may not have had as clear a handoff from the bid to the actual work as I'd expected, but that was minor. Because they didn't have to haul off the trees, either, they just chipped them all up right there. They showed up early, too. No damage to our yard either. So it's tough to go wrong with that kind of work. I would hire them again."

"A large cottonwood tree had fallen between our yard and the neighbors. Our neighbor had used this service before and they responded quickly to his inquiry. Several services that we had used previously failed to respond even over a week later. KC tree services did such a fine job with removing the cottonwood that we inquired about them also trimming three large walnuts in our backyard that we had been looking to have trimmed. Initially they were going to come back later in the week but instead they were able to extend their day and finish that up also the same day. They did a great job of trimming the tees by taking the the weight off certain areas and removing dead branches. They were interactive with us when trimming to ensure that they met our goals and cleaned up well afterwards. Since we have had much trimming and trees taken down over the years we knew they were price competitive and did good work. We highly recommend their services."

Not only were they the cheapest tree removal quote I got, the guys who performed the work were very professional and knowledgeable on their trade. They cleaned up everything after taking down the tree and I mean everything. They even picked up brush, branches, and just regular yard debris that they didn't even cause. I couldn't be more happier. I got 3 estimates by 3 different companies and I chose JL Absolute Tree Service because they were the most thorough and reasonably priced. I had 5 huge maple trees and one large elm, so this was a large tree trimming job. 4 maples were drastically trimmed back at my request and 2 were completely removed. They did such a great job, I have recommended them to all of my neighbors. It is a huge relief knowing that I don't have to worry about those old dead branches this winter with potential ice storms. They did the entire huge job in less than a day and a half and cleaned up perfectly before they left. Highly recommend!"
