"Nick tiled my Master Bath, Tub, Shower, Bar Backsplash and Kids Bathroom. We did natural stone (Travertine), Picture Frame in Master Bath, Built In Shower Shelves, and extended shower 14". This was a major tile job that took weeks. Nick was absolutely amazing the entire way through. Always on time, cleaned up, and treated my house like his own. It is very clear he takes great pride in all of his work and it shows. I own multiple rental properties and have done literally hundreds of projects. Nick is a rare find and a 10 out of 10 on everything.....price, quality, recommendations, design, etc. All you have to do is look at all his reviews. No one has ever had any problems with him....ever. He is very skilled and just a nice guy that takes pride in his work."

"I was in a tough spot and Lenny really came through for me! He started and finished when he said and his work was excellent! They installed 6,000 square feet of carpet on 3 floors with 2 stair cases and not one flaw! I would not only use him again, but can't imagine calling anyone else!"

"Image Floors performed the tile work in our main bathroom remodel. From the very first phone call, Luis was always available. Some installers were calling me back for the first time after my request for bid up to 3 weeks later. The bid for the job was very competitive. Luis and Omar were very professional and punctual through the entire project. They offered suggestions regarding the tile install, which helped the ijob go smoothly. We ended up with great bathroom tile.work that was just what we wanted. We highly recommend Luis and Omar for your tile project."

"After collecting multiple quotes, Jesus and Yellow Ladder Renovations were clearly the best option to complete our two-bathroom remodel. He was friendly, and responsive to our questions, came up with solutions when we wanted to add additional aspects to the job, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. I'd absolutely recommend him to family and friends."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
