"The Wood Element is the company that you can trust, they are the best! I hired them for both bathroom remodeling in 2023, they were very reasonable in prices, they came to work on time everyday, kept the workplaces clean and noises down as much as possible. Brian, the owner was a very nice and good communicator, he always responded to my questions quickly and addressed my concerns. Both my bathrooms were beautifully done, we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Wood Element for any of your remodeling work."

"I needed to have a barrier built on the other side of my Deck Railing to prevent the deer from coming along eating flowers and being on my deck. Tony and his crew did a fantastic and very attractive job building and installing it. They also moved the electrical light which shines along the shore. I could not be more pleased with Tony And his crew!"

"Very accommodating, we have vinyl siding on our home and Curt and Victor used a two step process for cleaning and 'sealing' the vinyl as well as they oiled our redwood deck and painted exterior trim on our home. There was always good communication with us if their scheduling had changed. Things happen and it only takes a text or phone call. So many contractors do NOT value that courtesy."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
