"For quite a long time I had been wanting to expand my garage to make room for certain projects. I finally decided to proceed with the expansion and contacted Averon Construction in Houston. Nathan and Glen came to my home and I described what I wanted to do. Both of them took my ideas and expanded on them some and came back with an acceptable bid. I viewed the plans that they had drawn up and was very pleased. With the large tree that was near by, they had designed a building that would remain standing even if some of this tree were to come down during a storm. I decided to move forward and Averon Construction started the submission of the plans to the city for approval and permits. Permitting within the city can sometimes be a problem but between the three of us we worked it out and construction started. Glen was onsite almost every day to ensure that the subs did their work correctly and answered any questions they may have had. The concrete sub, the framing sub, the siding and painting sub and the electrical sub all knew Glen and Nathan and worked well with them. The scheduling of the material and the subs went on without a single problem and the building was constructed with no delays or difficulties. The addition that I had built by Averon Construction is a 30' x 40' building on a concrete slab with an 8' x 20' addition that I can use as a storage/work area. The storage/work area was an idea that Glen and Nathan came up with and I am very happy with it. The wall studs are 2x6s and the rafters are 2x10s. This building will remain standing during any storm or hurricane that could hit Brazoria county. I would highly recommend Averon Construction for any home project that you have in mind. Nathan and Glen are always involved in the projects and Glen was always onsite to answer any questions or concerns that may come up. I am very much pleased with the work they did and the outcome of the project. It turned out exactly as I had hoped it would."

Although I have not yet hired an architect due to personal circumstances that have forced me to postpone my project, I would definitely recommend Mr. Mouzoon to anyone seeking an experienced, high-quality architect."

"I am working with Charles on a large remodel/addition and he is excellent. He is great to work with. He really listens and incorporates everything that I want into the house design. His work is meticulous and he is completely professional. It is a pleasure working with him. He responds quickly and I can tell he cares about the project. I started this project with a construction company designer and it quickly became apparent to me that the job was over his head. $4,000 dollars later I reached back out to Charles and hired him. It was the best move I could have made. Now I know my plans will be done right and that they will reflect my wants/needs in the best way possible."

"Quartz countertops, a glass tile backsplash, and new cabinet door handles were installed in my kitchen. Various samples were provided and suggestions were made, so the decision-making process was easy. The updates made a huge difference to my 1980 s kitchen! My master bathroom was totally remodeled and is absolutely beautiful. My garden tub and small shower were replaced with a large walk-in shower. I love it! Everyone associated with the remodeling was very helpful and professional."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
