Tile
"Gavin was punctual, tidy, pleasant, and did beautiful tile work. I appreciated that he was the one who came to look at the job and also who did the work - he didnâ t hand it off to someone else. I had prepped the shower walls with Kerdi-board but didnâ t do the most level job. Luckily, Gavin has decades of experience and was able to save our tile install from being a disaster! Will be sure to call him once itâ s time to remodel the second bathroom. Highly recommend GM tile."

"The team was amazing! We had an old deck in our backyard and we hired Palm Construction to replace and extend it and they did a great work! The job was done in less than 2 weeks, Communication was great, they cared about the backyard and plants and we are so happy itâ s all ready just before summer. Highly recommended!!"

Handyman, B-General Contractor
"I have only begun this project with Jessy but as far he seems very knowledgeable, professional and on time. He was here yesterday (12-4-18) and will email me a quote. I will update once the project has begun. I used HA once before and the clown that came out was worthless! Never got back to me and I think I knew more than he did. Unfortunately I did not write a review about him or remember his "company" otherwise the world would know about him and the fact that he simply never got back to me!! If your not gonna do the job then just say so and I can keep looking. I am truly looking forward to working with Jessy."

"We hired Brian Byrne and his team for several upgrade projects. They updated the siding and trim on nearly half of our house which came out perfect. We also wanted a custom farmhouse look with stained wood beams above our garage and front windows, he far exceeded our expectations and we get constant compliments from our neighbors. After this project we hired them again to replace two sliding glass doors that were outdated and they came out great! I would highly recommend them and plan on hiring them again in the future. Bryan is professional, always on time and easy to work with."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
