"Shane was very good with communicating with us from the start, primarily via text. Chris' team was there bright and early every morning and were there all day. They worked quietly; I hardly knew they were there! They pressure washed the house and deck, replaced a good amount of rotted siding boards, and stained the entire house and deck. Chris really helped by double checking our color choice for the deck. We had picked out a semi-transparent stain, and he showed me a sample of it on a railing before they started. I didn't like the color we had chosen at all! He said it was no problem to change the color and suggested we try a solid color stain. We picked out a color that made the deck look like it was brand new, and it looked terrific! There was only an additional charge for the new stain they had to get. Everything was kept neat and clean throughout the project and the guys were very nice. OUTSTANDING job. Will definitely hire again!"

"I had a terrible experience with SKM Property Maintenance and owner Doug King. What was promised as a 10-day deck project turned into a 7-month nightmare. Doug was extremely difficult to deal with—unprofessional, unresponsive, and at times, outright bullying. Midway through, he tried to pressure me into paying an extra $5,000 to finish the job. When I refused, progress stopped. I had to serve a Notice of Intent to Sue just to get it completed. To top it off, they placed the old, rotted bench back onto the newly finished deck—completely unacceptable. The lack of accountability and disregard for quality and customer service was shocking. I would never recommend this company. If you're considering SKM, proceed with extreme caution and get everything in writing. My experience was costly, frustrating, and not something I’d wish on anyone."

They were thorough with their measurements, talked to me as we went through each room about the process and what they would do/asked me what I wanted. The estimate came back within an hour. We accepted their job and they got to work the next day. The attention to detail is phenomenal. They removed all blinds, filled in nail holes, cleaned the air ducts in the living room and protected our flooring throughout. They communicated with us on a regular basis about what was accomplished and what was still left to do, each day. They were on time every single day. When they were done, they cleaned up everything, there was not a single thing left. We have more rooms to paint, along with our kitchen cabinets and we will be going with them going forward."
