"I highly recommend Peter Smith Painting for exterior house painting based on the recent (June, 2022) outstanding work they did painting our wood shingle house. "I largely chose Fabricio/Sunyay based on the reviews on this site. My experience, however, was disappointing. Bottom line, I would not hire him again. Pros: - Responsive, always replied to messages/calls - Prompt, never late to meetings Cons: - Poor attention to detail: Upon inspecting the finished work, there were cracks that were not caulked, nails that were not removed from the wall, etc. - Sloppy work: Paint on windows, paint dripping off cabinets onto the floor. He did not protect the floor, nor does it appear that he used any tape for clean edges. - He left refuse all over the apartment, did not sweep up or clean off appliances that were showered in debris. Most disappointing of all, he was painting over walls that were a bluish/grey. We agreed on 2 coats of paint, and although he claims to have done 2 coats, the bluish/grey color was still visible. If Fabricio took pride in his work, he would have done a 3rd coat, which in a studio apartment, is not a lot of work, but he did not."

"Everything went great! We used them for multiple projects across different disciplines (structural, stonework, bathroom tiling, etc...). Jonathan and Jason are extremely professional and safety oriented. When they exposed elements of my porch roof to replace the columns holding it up, they discovered legitimate structural safety concerns which I had to agree with. We discussed various remediation options and selected the best one. Their final product is high quality, safe, and looks awesome! We look forward to using them again."
