We specialize in hardscape design/build installations performed for thousand of customers since 1978. They trust us, have confidence in us and know we have the experience to expertly complete the project! We can help you with complete landscape renovations or new home landscaping. We are a full service design/build construction landscape company providing services that include retaining walls, paver & natural stone patios, walkways and driveways. Fire features, outdoor kitchens, seating benches , stone columns, plantings, pool removals/pool hardscape & landscape, shoreline renovations and more! Our facility is located in Minnetonka and is staffed daily Monday through Friday to assist you. On site estimates are scheduled at your home with the owners of L&R to accurately identify your landscape needs, wants and challenges. You will receive a documented proposal that identifies various application costs and a design may be created for your review depending upon the scope and scale of the project. We have the desire, skills, knowledge, and ability to do it all. They raised the sunken part of the driveway and angled it for rainwater flow. The crew were friendly, explained what was to be done before they started and, when done, showed me what had been done and allowed for any comments. Good clean-up too."

We've been installing concrete, brick, and stone in the Twin Cities for over 80 years. Our employees have been with us an average of 20 years.
"We chose Hage to replace our concrete steps because we thought they would be a trustworthy company. Mike Hage told us he wasn‘t sure they would get to our project before winter but we could put a 10% deposit down ($595) to hold the price for next year. In retrospect, that should have been a red flag because every other contractor we talked to wouldn’t take any money until they showed up to do the job. We ended up changing our plans before Hage even scheduled our project— still telling us they might not get to it until next year. We asked for our deposit back and he said no, essentially because in a document they sent us (but not the contract we signed) it stated that deposits are nonrefundable. We asked if he would please consider a partial refund, as I can understand the time it took to give us the estimate (even though those are free). He replied saying that our $595 deposit doesn’t even begin to cover the work their office does “printing photos, making job packets, and purchasing the permit.” I asked if any of that work had even been done considering our job wasn’t even going to be done until next year. He replied saying, “I am your salesman not the owner or your scapegoat. Please direct any further inquiries to the office directly as I have no knowledge of what has or has not been done-which makes no difference anyway.” Shocked by this rude and inconsiderate response. No accountability from Mike Hage of Hage Concrete. Hope this review prevents someone else from getting swindled."
