The salesman gave the lady in front of us a discount for buying all 5 yards, so when it was my turn I had a 3 yard remnant, only needed 1 yard, then decided I wanted another yard, thought I would take the 3 yards if he discounted, it had not been discounted yet even though it was a small remnant! The employee went in back to ask big Jay, and he stormed out of his office, screaming at me very loud, telling me I’m cheap, told the employee not to sell any to me, and screamed, GET THE F**K out of my store! I was shaking and upset, after being yelled at like that! Jays employee said, I guess he’s having a bad day, really? I went down the street to Boca Bargoons, and found same exact fabric, better price, and an extremely pleasant experience, every employee could not have been nicer! Bigger store and very organized and clean, not dumpy like Jays."

"Horrible customer service and the product is only getting worse over time. I have ordered 16 shutters from them over 5 separate orders during the last two years. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"
