"I have worked with Meadows construction in the past on a new 2 level deck and was very impressed with their workmanship and the crew. They are VERY hard workers. We needed a very large addition and kitchen/living area added and their work is great. We had a couple of issues come up because of the work an outside architect had done but Mike and I worked it out. His foreman is spot on and his crew are just wonderful to work with. He and his foreman were always a phone call away as I was away during construction. They had solutions when we had questions and followed through on them. On a project this large there are always bound to be things that come up but we always managed to come up with solutions. Mike, Brian, Otti and the rest of the crew, we thank you for making our plans come to fruition and doing a great job. He promised to be done in April and he came through on that promise. "Once again and with the highest confidence, we hired Russell's Contracting to convert our back entrance into a more open, useful mudroom. As promised, they arrived on time on the expected date and started by sealing off the back entrance for dust. The demolition of the closet was first done, and then the rehab began. I was amazed at the level of detail necessary to make the new mudroom perfect. From fixing the ceiling to installing new walls, taping and sanding, painting, new baseboards, and moving the overhead light, it was fun to watch. Colby was professional, exacting, efficient, clean, and asked all the right questions to ensure we were happy with the result. The new mudroom is exactly what we wanted. In addition, we asked Russell's to help us figure out how to make our open staircase to the second floor safer. Keith, Colby, and Max designed and installed a custom-built, stair-to-ceiling railing system that looks great and provides the necessary safety we were looking for. They also made it removable to accommodate large objects up and down stairs. The amount of time they spent was crazy, and the amount of math they did to ensure it was plumb and solid was above and beyond our expectations. My house was built in 1933, and this railing system looks like it could have been original to the house. It is a masterpiece. Everyone at Russell's Contracting we have met and who has worked on our house has been exceptional. You can stop scrolling for contractors; call Russell's."

"Could not have been a worse experience. Hired to replace door hardware (knobs and hinges). Simple job for anyone. I was told by owner that "they'll make everything perfect ". Expected a few hours...it took two guys four hours by which time I just wanted them out. Checked things as they were working and pointed out multiple problems along the way. English communication was clearly not working. They did not know how to adjust doors by bending hinges (the correct way) and instead pounded on the door jams and sunk visible three-inch screws into one to adjust it. The front door was the worst and needed the doorknob hole enlarged by 1/8 inch. The solution was to use a Sawzall on both the knob and deadbolt holes - I wish I could attach photos here!! Ruined the door. It can never have a standard round knob again because of the hack job. Told owner, scheduled appointment. He didn't show and didn’t respond to texts. Small Claims Court is next to replace the front door. Don’t hire!"

"One of the worst companies I have EVER dealt with in my life. Nothing but runaround, lies, and lack of accountability. They will tell you something over the phone, then when you follow-up, they will magically lose all records of prior conversations. I was told replacement windows would be ordered in June 2024 - never ordered. In January, ordered correctly with 4-6 week expedited delivery time quoted. Now in Feb, was told the windows would not be ready until end of March (total of nearly 11 weeks since order). Magically, they have no record of quoting me 4-6 weeks, though I have email records saying otherwise. Just a miserable company to do business with, would never recommend to any homeowner."
