"Sales was excellent, but that’s where it ended. Was told someone would come out for accurate measurements to send to manufacturer. No one ever called. Soon i was charged for the doors to be made but never had official measurements taken and it was like pulling teeth for someone to provide me proof that measurements were taken when no one was home. I was told it happened on 10/31 but I was out of state. So must have broken into my property to do it then? Skip ahead two months, one door shows up to be installed but can’t as it doesn’t fit. Shocking. Three months later all doors arrive for install. First time I touch it the screen falls off my patio door. On the other door the hardware isn’t what I ordered to begin with and there is a dent in the steel paneling. So one of three doors is working out for me. In total, it’s been six months since i signed on the contract and i haven’t so much as received a “hey, we’re sorry this has been awful and we really appreciate your $15,000. How can we make it right?” Instead I have to inquire DAILY with someone from installation scheduling (since this is the only contact I have aside from sales) about when and how management is going to fix it. I went with Champion as for the warranty and quality of work. Never again"

Welcome to Quinn Windows, a family-owned and operated window replacement and home remodeling company founded in 1980 in Atlanta, Georgia. We specialize in complete Window and Door replacement. We'd like to be your next contractor. Your home is likely your biggest investment and you need someone trustworthy and knowledgeable to improve and protect that investment. Over 30 years experience, an excellent rating with the Better Business Bureau and an endless list of references are only a few things that speak for how trustworthy and knowledgeable we are. At Quinn Windows, we put our family name on every project we do. Each job we do reflects on our reputation and we work hard to do the best work we can do to protect that reputation. The philosophy is simple: Quality products, quality work, personalized service, fair prices, and absolutely no gimmicks.
"From the initial sales call with Mike to working out the contract details with Meghan to the installation with Ryan and Mack, I was consistently impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of Quinn Windows. Not once did I second guess my decision to go with them. The sales presentation was very low pressure, making sure all my questions were answered and giving me time to evaluate the information and make my decision. I put my deposit down in mid-July and the windows were installed 8/25 which I felt was an excellent turnaround compared with what some of my neighbors have experienced with other companies. The installation team, Ryan and Mack, were great. They worked ten plus hours in my un-air-conditioned house on one of the hottest days this summer and took the time to get every detail right and then cleaned up everything before they left. I am recommending Quinn Windows to all my neighbors!"

Home of the BUY-ONE-GET-ONE FREE Windows! (Minimum of 4 windows). With over 25-years of experience, we've exceeded the expectations of thousands of clients from all over the Metro Atlanta area. We take pride in showing our customers the importance of quality and value when shopping for the perfect replacement windows for your home or office. No gimmicks, No bait and switch, No tricks... We provide honest quotes, and quality work. WE HAVE A 4 WINDOW MINIMUM.
"On March 10, I ordered 6 windows and 1 door and was told installation would occur in 6-8 weeks by factory trained installers, not subcontractors. Eleven weeks later 5 windows were installed, 1 visibly defective but installed anyway. The old 6th window was ripped out and then reinstalled with a bent frame. The installers did not verify the replacement windows fit before removing the old ones. The door installation damaged the structural integrity of the wall. The installers were contractors, only 1 of whom was fluent in English. I was told the old window and a replacement for the defective window would be installed 2-4 weeks later. After waiting 10 more weeks I was told 1 window would be installed on week 22, but that the other window had not been ordered and no ETA was provided. It is now the second half of July and I wonder if and when the job will be completed. The production manager explained that the release language contained in Green View's contract does not obligate Green View to honor deadlines. Perhaps, but he and another employee both admitted that I should not have been told the replacement windows would arrive in 2-4 weeks, and written representations about Green View's relationship to the installers (whose work was defective) could appear to customers to be untrue. The contract does not release Green View from liability for fraud, misrepresentation and negligence. I imagine the same sales materials provided to me have been used with many potential customers. And the installers may be employees who are misclassified as contractors. Green View provides the windows, assigns the jobs, and sets the installation schedule. The "contractor" who spoke English told me they are paid by the job. But employers must maintain time records, pay overtime, withhold federal and state taxes, FICA and Medicare (and contribute the employer portion), pay unemployment taxes and provide workers compensation coverage and health care and FMLA (as applicable) and verify legal residency. [*** Link removed ***] The fact that Green View's sales pitch states affirmatively that it does not use subcontractors suggests that it knows or should know the difference between contractors and employees. If it did not know the difference, it does now. The icing on the cake is that the owner of Green View is familiar with my experience and has yet to apologize. Two of his employees told me that they suggested to him that he should reach out to me. His silence speaks volumes. I imagine Green View began business with the intention of maintaining a reputation for quality and fair dealing. People change."

On average, replacing a deck railing costs about $925. This includes all the materials and labor needed to install a new porch or deck railing system with a durable finish. For instance, adding a new handrail on your front steps costs around $80 per linear foot. This price ensures your new railing is safe, looks great, and meets building codes.
Balusters and spindles offer structural support to the railing and run from the footing to the handrail. While their names are often used interchangeably, these support posts differ in their footing design. Balusters rest on a step, floor, or deck, while spindles have a footing rail attached to the bottom of the posts.
Choosing the right contractor for stair railing replacement is determined by the project’s complexity. A general contractor provides professional expertise and precision for a design that involves custom curves or intricate details. For straightforward installations, a qualified handyman delivers efficient service. Hiring skilled professionals guarantees that the installation meets all safety and building code requirements while ensuring lasting quality.
If it's still structurally sound, you can update your existing stair railing without removing it. By repairing any damages and then painting or refinishing it, you can give your staircase a fresh new look. This approach saves time and money while ensuring your railing meets all safety and building code requirements.
Reusing your existing stair spindles is a practical option when they’re in good condition. Notifying your contractor in advance is essential to ensure the spindles are preserved during removal. After removal, refinishing the spindles with a fresh coat of paint or stain will match them with your new railing design while maintaining sustainability and a cohesive aesthetic.
Stair railing balusters are mandated to maintain a spacing of no more than four inches apart. This precise measurement prevents a four-inch sphere from passing through and ensures the railing system is secure. Maintaining this gap is essential for structural integrity and safety. Be sure to verify that your installation meets these requirements as specified by local building codes.
