"We recently were replacing a very old wall oven and built-in microwave (separate units, one above the other) with a brand new double oven. This required a major kitchen cabinet modification to accomplish a perfect custom fit for the new appliance. I started looking online for a contractor to do this. Derek was SO highly reviewed by so many people that we knew we would be lucky if he could do the job. And we got him! He came to the house first to understand & evaluate the project. He listened, asked good questions & carefully & precisely took measurements to plan for the appropriate cut-out of the existing cabinet. Using the specifications of the appliance manufacturer, Derek did a perfect job, allowing for the proper installation of the new ovens. He even built a nice new drawer for underneath, which we did not have before. And he cleaned up so well afterward that you couldn't tell he'd been there! Derek is a really nice man who is thoughtful, dependable & an incredibly skilled carpenter/craftsman. We definitely plan to hire him in the future for some bigger cabinet projects."

"They scheduled to come in March, they showed to the scheduled to do the installation that seemed to go okay. So, that was the week of March 21st on Saturday. And when they finished the job but nobody came to check anything when the entire order of the sliding casing for the locks were detached from the door and turns out that it was missing some bunch of screws when they came back on Monday. I had two different people to speak with over the weekend, but I never heard anything else. I even sent emails and photos to the company over the weekend but nobody responded and this whole thing. It was over a month a month now and it was still not resolved. It is very difficult to lock and unlocked the door which also makes my kids being annoyed with it. On weekend, someone answered the phone and told me that someone will come but nobody really came to resolved this."

"They scheduled to come in March, they showed to the scheduled to do the installation that seemed to go okay. So, that was the week of March 21st on Saturday. "As soon as I inquired, Larry reached out to me immediately to discuss some options. He stopped by a few days later to take a look at the door and show us some physical samples. After about 30 minutes, we made a decision and had a fair quote. A few weeks later, the door arrived from the factory and Larry and his team arrived to install it. They were very quick and very clean. It was still quite cold outside but they had the new door installed in what seemed like minutes. They spent a considerable amount of time making sure to trim/caulk around the door perfectly. I looked over their work very carefully and was very pleased with it. One of the guys even noticed that the screen door had been slightly damaged when shipped to them and they made certain to point it out to me. They explained that they already called to order a replacement and that they would be out to replace it at no cost to us as soon as it arrived (which they did). Their craftsmanship was excellent. They prices are very fair. They preformed the work when they said they would and they were very respectful of our property/house. I would recommend Columbus Window and Door to anyone who has high-expectations. A+!"
