"Adan was super responsive, helpful, professional, and very polite/easy to deal with. I needed some exposed pebble-aggregate concrete slabs removed/repoured along my driveway and wanted all the old wood expansion joints removed and replaced using modern materials. Through the entire process, from discussing options, answering all my questions in detail on the exact procedures Pro Tek would perform as they did the work, scheduling, and regularly communicating with me as the work progressed each day, Adan did a fantastic job. I’m very pleased with the completed work and would absolutely recommend/hire Pro Tek again in the future. In fact my neighbor was watching the entire project get completed very closely, and is now also in the process of asking Pro Tek for a bid for her own house. :)"

"Mack and Sons? More like Crack and Sons. Prompt bid and scheduling were a plus. Communication leading up to job completion was exceptional. Afterwards I was treated like a one night stand and never talked to again when I brought up issues with the quality of work. If being ghosted for months on end, yelled at by the owner at 8pm on your door step while you're putting you're trying children to sleep, you like to buy once cry twice , and have a love for substandard work then this is the business for you. Yelled at on your own property at night? I asked they remove pictures of my property and the work they did from their Facebook page as they didn't do a good job and it's not representative of the quality of their work. I also added that it's comical that they claim to support veterans but have treated multiple veterans in our community poorly. If the Veterans Administration were a concrete company it would be Mack and Sons. That elicited a response and I was actually happy to see the owner roll up at 8pm onto my driveway, Maybe they're going to fix this. I let her know that it's bedtime for the kids but the concrete they poured is right around the corner and she can look at it there. "I don't care about the concrete." I guess I wouldn't care either if I already had taken the money and done a poor job. A polite you need to leave the was met with a no followed by tears and shouts. Apparently as a veteran, I don't know anything about veterans. I laughed so hard in DD-214 that I coughed up black stuff from being near burn pits during my deployment to Iraq. Alas, the comedy routine didn't last long and after 3 more requests to leave my property, I had to use my big boy voice to get the owner to leave. I would say it's safe to say that they won't be resolving any issues with their work."

We raise and level concrete pavements, driveways, and sidewalks. We also offer basement waterproofing. "Groundworks were contracted to encapsulate the crawl space, with a dehumidifier, intellijacks & sump pump. The inspector showed us pictures & videos of what the work would look like on completion, & explained how each solution would be installed. They tried to charge me more for vent covers until I showed them the contract covering this part. The foreman told me there was a reset button for the sump pump to be installed on an exterior wall, but they did not install it, instead said they would put in a service order. I haven’t heard anything about this issue yet. When they installed the moister barrier, they excluded the cement pads I was told it cost extra to have them covered. When I signed the contract, I was never told there would be extra charges for vent covers or cement pads to be covered. The contract I signed covered a complete encapsulation, but this is not what I got. This is a bait & switch. I would not recommend Groundworks."

"When I was getting bids for our paver project, one of the three bids I got was from Rios Brick Pavers. I asked Mauricio, the owner, why I should hire him. Without hesitation, he responded, “Because of the quality of our work.” He went on to say that his crew is great at what they do, and they have been with him for many years. He told me that there may be some competitors who will offer a lower price, but none will match his quality workmanship. Mauricio and his crew went on to deliver on his promise. We had walkways, a large gravel area, and a brick patio integrated into a beautiful and welcoming space that greatly enhances the usability and the look of our home. We could not be happier with the quality of the work and the finished look of the paver project. Mauricio was excellent on communicating status throughout the project. As there are with any project, there were a couple of unexpected challenges that he let me know about right away. The solutions he developed provided additional proof of the experience of his crew.
