"New Generation Painting gifted us with one of the best experiences weâ ve ever had with a contractor! Our home was in serious need of exterior painting and extensive dry rot repair. We interviewed several potential contractors, but when we met Ivan, we knew weâ d found our person. He is a hands-on business owner who books limited jobs so quality stays high. He was on site every day. His team got mad props and respect from our neighbors, who were amazed at their skill, precision, and professionalism. In fact, several neighbors wanted their contact information after seeing their work! They completed the job beautifully, on time, and in budget, Their communication was excellent. We honestly would not consider hiring anyone else for future jobs- these guys are seriously the best!! Thank you Ivan, Sarai and New Generation Painting!"

"Alex has done multiple projects for me: sealing and painting exterior trim, painting interior and exterior plaster, painting wood, and stucco repair, hot tub refinishing, and replacement of three fence posts. He is very talented and adept at handling the many problems that come up in painting an old house like mine. I am very satisfied with the results and recommend him highly."

"The Gutierrez brothers did a great job painting all nine of our exterior French doors inside and out, a large bedroom with many windows and we threw in a bathroom at the last minute. They got everything done under time and on budget. Their price was well under the other bid we received, almost too good to be true, but it wasnâ t! Not only was their work great, they kept everything clean and were so quiet, you could barely tell they were there. They communicated promptly and asked all the right questions to clarify the job both when quoting and doing the work. Not only were they professional but they were personable. They were knowledgeable, reliable, friendly, respectful, and even worked around our houseful of cats and made sure none were let out. Definitely recommend them, have already referred them to friends, and will have them back for any future painting needs. Just nice reliable hard working guys you can trust!"

"Lionel and his team did a great job painting the exterior of our house and we hired him again to paint the interior including cabinetry. He is very detail oriented and works side-by-side with his crew, so you don't have to deal with different people for estimates and on the job communications."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
