"10/1/02 Initially, Francisco was very good at calling to schedule the initial estimate and following up with faxing the requested reference list and bid. The pricing seemed fair for the amount of work we wanted done. The workers arrived on time on the day scheduled, and they worked quickly and efficiently. However, the third day, they were here only 45 min. or so, then left without a word, and did not return. We received no call from Agri-con to say when they were coming back. Two days later, my husband called Agri-Con to find out what was going on, since we still had not heard from them. Apparantly, Agri-con was doing another job at a friend's house, a job they had gotten through our referral, and they were planning to grind the stumps for both jobs at the same time (tomorrow). It would have been more more proactive and better customer service had they called us and let us know what the status of our job was, instead of making us call them to find out. Since the job is not completed, I would like to wait until that time to give you my final rating. 10/2/03 - Francisco and his crew were back out at my house, and they were very considerate of the fact that my husband was sleeping; the crew worked on trimming back some shrubbery and trees, then they came back in the afternoon after my husband awoke to do the stump grinding. That was very considerate and very much appreciated! 10/6/03 - the job is 90% completed. We are waiting for our pool decking to be removed; Francisco recommended we wait until then to grind the palm tree stumps and any roots that may be in the area. We are very satisfied with Agri-con's work, have recommended them to several neighbors and friends who have used them already, and would definitely call them back when the next pruning/trimming is needed."

"The Johnson's Crew arrived on time, were friendly and cheerful, did the work quickly and carefully, and cleaned up completely (yard, driveway, and even the street). "The service they did was mediocre at best and they are not very careful. Had them cut trees down by my house and they decided to fell 1 of them right along the side of my house instead away from it and hit my roof and broke a window when I live in the forest and there was plenty of clear area to direct it towards. They also crushed my garden and fencing in this act. It has been 2+ months and they STILL have not fixed what they have broken and getting them to respond is next to impossible. So if they can't do any damage to ANYTHING on your property I would say maybe give them a chance but avoid them completely if there is a risk of anything being hit, no matter what the value because they won't fix what they break and will leave you for 2 months in the snow without a freaking window and your chimney crushed!!!!"

"A&Y Performed a tree removal for me. It was approximately an 80-foot tree very close to my house and backyard deck. I was a bit nervous as I had seen "TREE Fails" on YouTube. Their insurance was current and complete so that helped my nervousness:) The crew arrived on time and had the tree removed by noon. I was very impressed and highly recommend A&Y for tree removal. They left the worksite clean and split the rounds and stacked the wood for me (I wanted it for firewood). I felt the price was fair and the customer service was excellent. "Ramon and his crew from Nature Care Tree Specialist were very professional and courteous. They provided outstanding service to us. We are very delighted. I approached Ramon for an estimate when they were performing some tree work on a nearby street. He came within 10 mins to give an estimate, suggested various options for pruning about half a dozen trees big and small, before giving an estimate. He was very easy to communicate with and courteous. The estimate was reasonable. They came promptly for the appointment, which, due to a cancellation, was within 2 days. Ramon himself climbed and led charge, pruning and cutting, advising his crew as needed. He would check with us often during the pruning to ensure it’s to our satisfaction and we are happy. They did the work patiently and carefully and did not try to rush at all. His crew was the same. They cleared and cleaned the yard very well after the work. He carefully removed a couple of geranium plants nearby before the removal and replanted them back after. He was also careful with PG&E pipe/wires nearby.
