"My regular plumber, that is great, Stephen's Plumb & Heat was busy so I tried Blanton and it really cost me. I needed several jobs - listed below with the Blanton quote. Replace toilet fill valve/flapper $624. Replace a garbage disposal $688.50. That's labor only as I had already purchased the new device. Replace a leaky Delta faucet cartridge $810. Clear a bath sink drain $350. Rod a tub drain $450. Grand total $2887.75! I declined and the Blanton plumber immediately dropped the price to $250 per drain. Still high but I chose to have lines rodded as he was already there. He started the plumbing work around 9:35am. He opens the sink pop-up and finds paper in the pop-up stopping the water and removes it. No rodding necessary. He does have to rod the tub. Both jobs are complete and I sign for payment 21 minutes later at 9:56am. He charged me $500. I realized the billing error, that I was charged for 2 roddings. I called the company to no avail. Invoices below. "
