I have hired them every spring to help groom any bushes, weeding and replanting any plant that it not make it through the winter. They also mulch and manicure the garden and leave it prestine. "Donâ t waste your time and money on Greener Living. I had been a fairly happy Greener Living customer for just over two years. Early on there were issues - they were annoying but manageable. Over time, the frequency and intensity of the issues became unbearable. The Greener Living technicians and management failed to provide the â professionalâ part of a â paid professional service.â I began documenting and itemizing the issues. Here is what I saw: 1) Technicians failing to read gate codes from my account "notes" resulting in skipped/delayed services 2) Technicians not adequately using enough product on service 3) Technicians damaging sprinkler heads - two years in a row - with the aerator, despite me having flagged them with bright yellow flags 4) Too many pushy "sales" phone calls 5) Technicians using the wrong products and staining my property For all of these issues, I had to reach out and insist that some resolution be provided - it was not the default response. I eventually started communicating directly with Brian Mason (Owner & General Manager per his email signature). I gave them a couple opportunities to make it right and they failed. I eventually asked for a refund. Brian sent an email saying the refund would be processed and sent his apologies. The trouble is, at the time of writing this, it has been 19 days since â processingâ that refund and despite attempting to contact them twice since then there has been no refund. Stay away from Greener Living - they donâ t care about you, your property, or your business. They just want your money."

Robert was very pleasant and efficient and even took the time to spot treat the few unavoidable weeds that had materialized since the last application. At the same time Robert arrived we had received a shipment from another company for a product that weighed over 160 pounds. When he noticed the shipping company technician would not bring the container into the house, Robert offered to do so for us! It was a beautiful act of kindness on his part and we are so grateful for his generosity. Our lawn is looking great with NaturaLawn. We fully intend to utilize NaturaLawn going forward and hope Robert continues to be assigned as our lawn technician.”"

Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.
Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.
When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.
The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.
Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
