"If I could give them 100 stars I would. The first electrician, Andrew, came and gave us an estimate. We hired them on the spot because of Andrew and the quote was so reasonable. Andrew was already scheduled for another job so they sent Luis. Luis hung four ceiling fans and an antique crystal chandelier that is over a 100 years old and he did a fabulous job. We are so impressed by the caliber of the employees and the work they did that we will ALWAYS hire them. I can't say enough good things about what an outstanding job they did and for a very reasonable price."

"Baylectric and their employees completed our project before deadline. The panel and trucking installation went smoothly and look forward to the next phase. Definitely passing Baylectric information to other businesses and contractors we closely work with. Thank you to the owner, Gage Clem, for such professionalism."

"Had 3 pot lights installed in the kitchen and a new chandelier hung. The installation went smooth and Jeff was awesome! He explained everything he would be doing for the installation. When he took down the original light fixture he showed me where the electrical l line was broken and it was starting to burn. I was very thankful that we had the work done by Charter and would ask for Jeff for future electrical work. The total bill was exactly as quoted and was very reasonable."

"Great company. They gave me an estimate of costs before any work began, and even gave me multiple choices of service to decide from, without pushing the most costly. Technicians were knowledgeable and friendly, and provided exceptional customer service. I had three fan/light fixture combos installed in locations previously set up for only lights. They took care of the whole process, from up boxing the fixtures, to taking out the "trash". They asked for my input through the whole process, and were professionals throughout. I will definitely hire them again!"

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
