"Vitalii, owner of BFA Flooring, was personable and professional. After showing me the high and low points of the subfloor, Vitalii explained why it should be leveled, and how the process was done. He noticed the bathroom tile protruded into the bedroom and said they would cut the tile back, so the transition would be under the door. Vitalii also viewed the manufacturer’s instructions and installed it accordingly, in order to preserve the warranty. Vitalii and Mike did excellent work. They took care to protect my hallway floors, worked diligently and meticulously, and did a thorough clean-up afterward. The work was done in one day and the wood flooring and baseboards look amazing! I would definitely hire them again."

We are a small, quality oriented, licensed flooring contractor with over 21 years of experience. Specializing in hardwood flooring installation & refinishing, baseboards, laminate and luxury vinyl planks.Serving portions of Placer and Sacramento counties.
"We had about 2000 square feet of wood installed by Dorel in 2016. We were very satisfied with the quality of work, attention to detail, responsiveness to our concerns and wishes, and professionalism. We interviewed multiple installers and were most impressed with Dorel from the beginning. We wanted to avoid T-moldings at tile-wood junctions, and he did an outstanding job with this request, using reducer moldings or slanting boards to create clean and smooth transitions. Where the wood flooring came up against the fireplace base, and along the stairs (where the junctions would not be hidden by an overlapping baseboard), his precision cuts resulted in very clean tight junctions. We also wanted to reuse our baseboards, and he did so with a very clean outcome. You are unlikely to find better craftsmanship by another installer. He exceeded our high expectations and we would definitely use him again."

The lifespan of carpet padding depends on the material used and the level of foot traffic it endures. Flat rubber padding can last for up to 20 years, while prime foam often needs to be replaced in less than five years. Worn padding affects your carpet’s comfort and support, so regular inspections help determine when it’s time for an upgrade.
You should replace your carpet padding when it no longer provides adequate support. Signs that it's time for a replacement include loss of springiness, visible lumps or dips, and a crinkly sound underfoot.
