She attempted to repair my garbage disposal unit but was unable to do so as the unit's wiring was worn out. I advised the unit is 40 yrs old. She recommended to purchase a new one. We made a trip together to the local Home Depot store and I purchased the same brand s she recommended. She installed it in record time (within the 2.5 hrs) and completed the job. She also cleaned the work space and carried the old one to my recycling bin. Very satisfied with her work. Also, I want to know if I will receive a billing statement for my records? "I have to say that I have never actually paid this plumber for a job. However, I had a problem with our plumbing flooding the house the evening before my mother was going in for surgery. I wish I could remember the plumber's name to give him a quality shout out. What I can say is that he came out ...said that he would take a look at it and it might possibly cost between a certain amount plus the service charge fee if he was able to fix it. He also said if he wasn't able to fix it that it would just be the service fee. Well... He wasn't able to take care of the issue, however, he also told me that since his office was so close to our home that he didn't feel comfortable charging a service fee. I'm hoping this comment does not cause him any kind of adverse effects. In this day and age when people are trying to just survive it's refreshing when others show a decent moral code. They want to obviously make a living, but at the same time they don't want to do it at a hindering cost to others. I don't know if this gentleman was an owner or an employee, but if I have any issues in the future... Benjamin Franklin plumbing will be one of the first places I call."
