"I hired NFL&P for lawn & tree/shrub service and paid in advance for the year. They treated my lawn 5 times and, during two of those visits, treated trees/shrubs twice. I then called on March 3rd and cancelled the contract and asked for a refund of the balance. Six weeks and five calls later, I still no sight of the refund. Lots of excuses (e.g., manager is out sick, need to follow up on it for you, the refund is in process for issuance, let me check with the manager) but no check. To add insult to injury, from what I was told by them during our last call, the refund check they are going to be issuing is for $151, instead of the $343 remaining in my account. I seldom go to the trouble of writing an online review, but this time I feel compelled to express my displeasure with this company. I wish I hadn't paid the year in advance. They offer a small discount for prepaying, but this saga concerning the refund has caused me to seriously reconsider ever prepaying anything ever again"

"As a master gardener, I was impressed that they correctly identified dormant plants and herbs that were brown from winter's cold. Who does that! I didn't have to explain what to remove or what to trim. They knew and also moved crowded plants to better suited areas. Removed invasive "volunteers plants that somehow moved in. Hard working, careful and caring. I plan to have them return throughout the year for maintenance. Also plan to recommend to my friends."

"Wanted to wait close to a year before I gave a good and thorough review. My lawn got a fungus more than likely from all the rain we had over the summer. When I reached out to the owners, Leslie and “little George”, they came out to my home, Leslie took a video of my entire lawn, which worried my wife and several of the neighbors (he should of gotten my permission to do that). Then “little George” came out to meet with me. He admitted that several areas of the grass didn’t look how they needed, but said he thought it would be okay in the long run. Some of the lawn bounced back and other parts did not. But it was the response of the owners and the negativity they showed throughout the process which made me give them an overall 2 stars. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone."
