"Kurt was very professional and polite. He called within 5 minutes of the HomeAdvisor recommendation and came and performed the service the same day. Kurt explained the repair and suggested that the unit had already outlived its useful life but recommended that I continue to use it until it ceased to work permanently. He very discretely suggested alternatives and graciously provided a estimate for a replacement device. I am so pleased with his service. I will continue to use the unit I have now until it gives me fits again and then I will most likely use his company for a replacement.garage door and opener. "The spring on the garage door broke at 3:30 p.m. when my wife returned from the Post Office. Normally, having both cars “trapped” in the garage would be an annoyance — we could just reschedule our following day around a service call. This time, however, the schedule was already set: a 6:00 a.m. trip to the health center for cataract surgery. The first order of business was to try to get the spring replaced.We called our usual service company but they had no one free for “emergency” service that late in the day. They recommended a Google search, which brought us to Angi and Overhead Garage Door. To make a long story short, the OGD service tech arrived quickly, assessed the situation, made the spring replacement/tensioning AND did a thorough inspection and preventative maintenance on the door, opener, tracks, rollers, hinges… and was still able to complete the job and be on his way by 6:00 p.m. We’ll done, Joshua!
