  Comment: Water leaked into a wall through a crack over a window last week during the rains. Inside, the plaster was damp (now dry) and is cracking. Some bad odors occasionally in the bathroom on the inside of the window. There may also be a couple small holes from screws securing a drainpipe from the roof. Outside, there is a pretty clear crack in the stucco above the window. I'm a renter, landlord lives out of state, but is aware and awaiting quotes for this repair.

  Comment: Had a slow leaking water heater that wasn't caught for a few weeks. Water seeped into the drywall of the water heater closet and the wall of one of my bedrooms. Happened back in 2019 so everything is now dry, but drywall needs to be replaced and repained.
