"I wish they had a 10 rating. PLEASE read this before you choose a pest control company. I had a little problem with mice. Now the mice weren't in the attic or foundation, but one of my cute little kitties was bringing them in as gifts for me. Four within a matter of minutes. All alive!!!! I always pick 3 companies when I need something done. I had two come out and Pestcal was the third. Now, you have to understand, unfortunately, when many contractors come to the house and see a little old lady, they think they can take advantage of her. The first company that come out, and they have great ratings here, told me I had rats in the attic, that there were droppings every- where in my house and that the job would cost $6,000. The second company came out and I was told the attic was fine, no problems up there but I had several areas in the foundation that needed fixing. To do the whole job would be $2,500. Then came the third company, Pestcal. Norman was great!! He actually checked the attic, not just poked his head in....no problem up there. Then he checked the perimeter outside...couldn't find any issues out there either. He said there were a couple of areas that could use some attention, but nothing major. Maybe a couple of hundred dollars. FINALLY, AN HONEST COMPANY!!!! Their priority is doing the right thing for the customer. This is the kind of company you want to hire for any work you need done at your home. I'm not going to name the other companies for several reasons, but I don't think Yelp allows that. I just want to reassure you that this is a legitimate review. As you can see by the other reviews the customers are extremely happy with Pestcal."

"We were seeing rats in our backyard, so based on the positive reviews for Surf City, we hired them to deal with the rodent problem. Pretty much everyone in the neighborhood has complained about rats, mice and other rodents in their yards and sometimes inside their apartments. The technician came out and set up traps around the property. After a few days, we stopped seeing any rats. That was nine years ago. We’ve been using them for monthly service ever since, not only for rodent control, but also to spray for spiders, roaches, ants and other insects."

"Kenneth came out, on time and clean, and checked out the complete inside, outside, and under the homes raised foundation and didn’t find and termites. He also told me something that the other 4 techs didn’t mention to me. I Had no water leaks from any pipes under the house. That was great news, besides knowing there weren’t any termites under there. This will be the fifth year that they have been inspecting our house and look forward to them coming out in the future."
