Electrical for New Builds, Minor Electrical, Panel Upgrades
"I purchased an older house that needed extensive electrical upgrades and sought out numerous quotes. Matt pricing is fair and highly competitive. I was immediately comfortable with Matt at this initial stage and found his suggestions helpful and reliable, especially ones that brought my house up to current code and I only regret not following his regarding a security system. In the process of doing my due diligence in obtaining quotes. My homeownerâ s insurance company dropped my coverage and my challenger electrical panel rendered my home uninsurable. I contacted Matt to schedule my electrical work, who while even out of the country returned my emails and scheduled my panel and service upgrade immediately upon his return My work was completed prior to the end of coverage and allowed me to insure my home. Matt took care of all the permitting and inspections. Matt and his crew where polite, friendly and professional at all times, even after coming out of an attic in August heat. The house was kept clean during and at the end of each work day over the two week process. Most importantly the interior lightning changed my cave-like environment into a bright and well-lit home. I am more than pleased with the work done. I have since referred ELM contracting to friends and family and I would do the same for anyone taking time to read this review."

Electrical Switches, Outlets & Fixtures - Install or Repair, Electrical Wiring or Panel Upgrade
"I hired Bailey s Power and Light to run a crucial new circuit for a waste pump for my new septic system. This entailed adding a circuit to my panel and fishing a new wire run completely across the width of my home (in an incredibly difficult to access attic space). When we walked and reviewed his completed work, I could only explain how he accomplished it by calling it magic. He was polite, on-time, well-prepared, showed excellent skill, and worked very quickly. His rates are also very reasonable, I strongly recommend his services."

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesSarasota Electricians are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 423 reviews of 423 pros.
