"We contracted with the owner of Deforest Construction to do a complete remodel of the main level of our 4,200 sf home, which included a new kitchen (new island, new appliances, and changes to the HVAC).  A new family room, which included a new fireplace, new hardwood flooring throughout, changes to electrical/lighting, and a new bathroom.   Walls that were not plumb were also corrected to accommodate a soft-close barn door to the laundry room.  We also had them fix some perimeter drain problems around the foundation to ensure water would properly drain away from the house.  The work was done with attention to detail, a commitment to quality and in a matter that complied with IRC building codes.  We were kept informed throughout the entire construction process.  If you are looking for a true craftsman who takes pride in their work, we highly recommend Deforest Construction.  I rarely provide 5 star reviews – they truly deserve one!"

"Jay and Bob did a fantastic job making my entranceway wheelchair accessible and attractive. I'm in a wheelchair, and there used to be a step out into my lanai, making it unsafe and inconvenient for me to get in and out. So, they made it level and added a wheelchair ramp. They are diligent, knowledgeable, hard-working, friendly, helpful, and they made sure the job was done right. Other companies didn't even return my calls, but Jay got back to me right away. He's pleasant and his work was affordable and skilled. It looks great! Jay made sure I was happy with the work and is coming back again to help with another project I asked him about. I plan to hire them for other projects and would definitely recommend them to others."
