Being a PUD approved contractor they require a U-Factor of .30. We can get that number down to a .21 for open windows and .18 for non opening windows. A third better but does not cost a third more. And if you live where there is a lot of noise it will almost eliminate it coming through the windows!

I called around to several roofing companies, but all of them were busy, and/or only replaced skylights as part of roofing jobs. I called Mike @ Superior Glass, and he had a used skylight he sold me for $250, which they came and installed 2 days later.
